Peace is possible—
even after loss.

Even when it lives in your body.

Elisabeth

Hi, I’m Elisabeth Jamison.

I’m a MindBody Grief + Pain Coach and award-winning filmmaker. I spent years telling stories about grief, suffering, and transformation for top networks—before I had to live those stories myself.

After losing both of my parents and several loved ones in quick succession—and navigating years of debilitating chronic pain—those universal themes became deeply personal.

Their deaths shattered my world. Days felt endless. Everything was unrecognizable.

I had panic attacks. My hair fell out in clumps. And the pain in my back became so unbearable, I felt like I was trapped in my own body.

But slowly, breath by breath and bit by bit, grief became my most profound teacher.

And in that same process, I discovered something that changed everything: chronic pain and unresolved grief are often two sides of the same coin.

With the right tools and compassionate support, I learned how to gently rewire my nervous system—and began to heal not just emotionally, but physically.

Now, as a MindBody Grief + Pain Coach, I bring the hard-earned wisdom of someone who’s lived through it—and found a way forward.

I guide others through their own losses—whether emotional, physical, or both—and help them rediscover safety, meaning, and joy in their bodies and their lives.

Chronic pain and grief are more connected than we realize—

And our society is both grief- and pain-illiterate, which makes the experience even more brutal.

Grief doesn’t follow neat stages. It doesn’t work on anyone’s timeline.

And chronic pain? It isn’t always about what’s structurally “wrong”—sometimes it’s your brain doing too good a job protecting you.

I help clients gently retrain their nervous systems, making healing possible—not only emotionally, but also physically.

If you’re feeling lost or overwhelmed, like no one gets what you’re going through, and you can’t get your head above water—guess what? That is normal.

You are not broken.

You are not crazy.

You are just grieving. Or hurting. Or both.

And you don’t have to go through it alone.

Together, we’ll create a safe container for your healing—in all the ways it may show up, including brain fog, physical pain, anxiety, fear, and despair. We’ll honor your loss while gently finding a way to let some laughter and hope back in.

It’s not about “moving on”—

It’s about moving forward.

In your way. On your timeline.

You don’t have to do this alone.

Let me help you.

Start your healing process today.

What my clients are saying…

No matter how strong I have always been, I was only able to carry so much grief so far. Elisabeth met me at the place where I could not get up and go on. My mind was betraying me and my heart was the heaviest burden I’d ever known. With sincere and practical compassion, she helped make sense of why I was frozen and gently accompanied me, part guide, part witness, as I got my feet back under me and built the courage to move again. She remains an important and invaluable sounding board as I continue my journey. There is a rare balance of deep intelligence and spiritual consciousness in the way in which Elisabeth works with & speaks on grief. Through this unique lens, the sessions feel complete and comprehensive, leaving no part of myself or my dearly departeds behind.”

—Kim K

Elisabeth became an integral part of my life, as she helped me with my initial journey through the grief process, as both of my parents passed away within three months of each other. She was the rock that helped me stay afloat when it seemed like I was all alone in my own grief and desperately wanted the support of my family. I can’t thank her enough for being there for me then and beyond. I often think of her and her supportive words, especially when memories of those many difficult days come to the surface.”

—Marita J

I can’t say enough good things about Elisabeth. She’s incredibly kind, empathetic, and genuinely helpful. When I was struggling with a loss earlier this year, she introduced me to new ways of thinking about and handling my grief that made a huge difference. I’ve been in talk therapy for a while, so I wasn’t sure if grief coaching would add anything new, but it turned out to be a completely different experience. Elisabeth has this amazing ability to really listen and see the whole picture. She offers insights that help you find your own solutions, which I love. I actually look forward to our sessions and can’t recommend her enough.”

—Lindsay P

Elisabeth is a naturally gifted coach with a tremendous capacity for insight and the ability to illuminate paths and options that aren’t immediately obvious. In one of our sessions, I was unsure I even knew what my issue was, but she not only helped me articulate it, she helped me find a way to work on it. Her deep experience and familiarity with grief and loss have helped me understand and process my own grieving. Elisabeth has a knack for helping you change your perspective, which sometimes makes all the difference. I highly recommend you take advantage of her gifts.”

—Raj

Elisabeth’s coaching is exceptional. I have worked with many healers, therapists, coaches, and so on, and I found Elisabeth to be remarkably soulful, thoughtful, and helpful. She got concisely to the heart of an issue, providing insight and helpful tools for me to continue to deepen my awareness and manage it moving forward. As a mental health professional myself, I am so excited to refer people to her.”
