How I Got Here

Who I am and How I can Help

I bring a unique blend of lived experience, spiritual practice, and mind-body healing to my work as a Grief and Chronic Pain Coach. A lifelong student of holistic approaches—from Transcendental Meditation at 12 to A Course in Miracles, Thích Nhất Hạnh, and Pema Chödrön—I’ve spent decades integrating these teachings into real life.

My personal journey through chronic pain, illness, caregiving, and profound loss has equipped me with both practical tools and deep empathy. I know how isolating, overwhelming, and relentless suffering can feel—and I know that healing, peace, and even joy are possible.

Most importantly: I get it. I’ve lived it. And now, I help others find their way through it too.

My path has led me to find peace—not by “moving on” from loss or pain, but by learning to move forward with them. Now, I help clients struggling with grief and chronic pain make friends with their bodies, their emotions, and their lives again.

As an award-winning filmmaker and artist, I know the power of creativity and laughter to heal the soul. My coaching isn’t about platitudes—it’s about walking with you through the hard parts, honoring your experience, and helping you gently rebuild a life filled with meaning, hope, and joy (even when that still feels impossible).

My Path and Training

My path is an eclectic blend of coaching, creativity, movement, spirituality, and mind-body healing.

I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome in my early 20s and found my way to remission using an integrative approach that included nutrition, herbs, meditation, journaling, affirmations, acupuncture, chiropractic care, yoga, Pilates, and Ayurvedic medicine.

Later, as someone who lived with debilitating chronic pain for years, I know what it feels like to be trapped in your body—and to feel invisible in a world that doesn’t understand.

But while I won’t be doing an Ironman anytime soon, I’m no longer at the mercy of pain. I’ve made peace with it, calming my nervous system and reclaiming my life.

This lived experience informs how I approach all forms of suffering—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual.

Whether you’re navigating grief, chronic pain, or the complex tangle of both, you don’t have to do it alone.

Healing is not about forgetting what you’ve been through—it’s about finding your way forward, with hope, meaning, and resilience.

Let’s start this journey together.
